Presenting Germanfest Picnic each year for the Dayton Community represents a significant investment even before the first keg is tapped and the first “Ein Prosit” is sung. We depend on donations from the community to help underwrite those expenses. Those funds go a long way toward ensuring that we cover our costs and remain viable for a repeat performance the following year.

To accommodate our continuing growth at our St. Anne’s Hill location, we are expanding into Bomberger Park along with additional vendors and beer stations. This growth will require additional extension of power along with new access from Fifth Street. Contractor proposals have estimated the costs at $18,000. We are undertaking raising this amount – viewing it as a long-term investment in the GermanFest and in the neighborhood. We can’t do it alone.
